Audacity: Picking up Recording where you left off

by David Birrow Birrow.David@MacPhail.org

Audacity can sometimes be overwhelming to handle during a class or lesson. The last thing you want is to be fussing with the computer when you are trying to teach music.  One way to keep things simple is to record everything in one track, as opposed to several different tracks.  Some teachers even hit record and record the entire lesson as one super long track.  There are two easy ways to record everything as one track:

  1. Use the 'append recording' function
  2. Use the pause button

This short video shows you how to do both.
